I take ortho tricyclen birth control pills and would like to skip my period.?

Can I just skip the sugar pills and start a new pack or do I need to start on the third week of the new pack for it to be effective?

I've been on this pill for @ 2 years now. I take it because I have severe back problems with nerve pain in my legs. When I get my period it aggravates my back! Good Luck!
  4. Yes I had to do this before my honeymoon, but I tried it a couple of months before then to make sure it would work. I didn't spot or have any problems. I took Ortho Tri cyclen Lo
